As the Founder and Leading Project Manager of Kali, is a socially driven initiative founded to address critical safety issues affecting women and children, such as sexual harassment, trafficking, and overall security threats. The initiative aims to empower individuals through innovative solutions and awareness programs that enhance safety and promote responsibility towards vulnerable members of society. My role encompassed strategic and project planning, team management, product development, and community outreach.

Vision & Strategy:

Established the mission and vision for Kali, focusing on a holistic, multi-faceted approach to safety and empowerment. This included identifying key challenges and developing strategies that balanced innovative technology and community engagement.

Team Formation:

Assembled and led a diverse cross-functional team of 15+ individuals, creating a culture of collaboration and accountability to drive project goals. I also delegated tasks across product design, data collection, awareness campaigns, and outreach.

Product Development:

Spearheaded the design and development of a prototype safety device, a smartwatch connected to a mobile app for real-time alerts during emergencies.

Data Gathering & Analysis:

Conducted extensive surveys with over 60 + individuals, gathering crucial data about public perceptions of safety. This data directly informed both the product’s design and our broader outreach initiatives. Also, over the course of 2-3 years, I conducted extensive research into safety-related criminal cases, including sexual harassment, trafficking, and other violent crimes. This process, while mentally and emotionally challenging, allowed me to build a deep understanding of the critical safety issues facing women and children.
